also, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
I loved these series, but the magic in manhattan series sounds weird (the titles!) but they are funny and you might like them. hope this helped!!!

My HP laptop computer won't power on. I keep trying to turned on the power but keeps knocking off. Please help?

WOW! I couldn’t believe how quick I get so many respond lol. Anyways, sorry I should’ve given more details and here it goes; for some of answers on power supply, the external power is working; now there’s another thing when I press power on like i said it knocks back off but there is this light kept on led for a couple seconds (the light is on the lighting symbol) i forgot what that symbol means lol. I’m thinking it’s says "I need serious attention or I’m dying!"lol. This is located on the bottom left of the Compaq lappy (sorry thats actually the type) with other symbols which it’s start with the power,___?,____? i think. Anyways, I’m amazed how all of you were willing and caring to help this poor thing, you all so sweet. oh and ’bout the warranty; it’s expired…it’s over 2 yrs old so maybe you r right ’bout what to do with it. It could either be that your battery is drained and is "dead" and cannot be re-charged anymore or your power supply is fried and you need to purchase a new one. If you get any response whatsoever (e.g. power light comes on for a second) that can be a good sign that only power supply or batt needs replaced. Hopefully your Harddrive is just fine.

I knew someone recently with the same problem. If this applies to you, I recommend to try the following: when you hold down the power button nothing happens, until you press the quick play icon on the top, then the computer loads into quick play but you can’t resume windows? Click the quick play icon but immediately after you do that, keep pressing F8 repeatedly, until a screen comes up with an option to resume windows in safe mode, etc. Instead of selecting anything on the screen, press control, alt, delete (ctrl + alt + del) all at the same time, just like you would normally do to get task manager, after you do this, be patient for a couple minutes, then windows should resume. Make sure to keep your laptop plugged in. If this doesn’t work then it must be something beyond your control that you will have to get fixed professionally, depending on how old the computer is. Hope this helps and good luck!

There’s a few things that could have happened in your case.
When I had my Compaq Laptop (HP Owned) I had it for about 2 years and it just got really bad. If ever i was to use it while it was charging it would just turn off. The fan would spas out and I could only use it on battery power. By this time the battery was really bad.
So your problem (if its over a year old) is that you may need a new battery. Try it plugged in and also on battery power. Assuming you’ve actually charged it.. I hope you have you may just need a new battery. When I got a new battery for my old laptop, I gave it away but it apparently works fine now.
Consult a professional.

Mine does that all the time. Laptops are easily overheated, and when they are over heated, the tend to shut down, if you wait a few minutes, it might turn on. Now, if that doesn’t work, check and see if your charger is completely plugged in. If it’s not either of those, then maybe the other battery is dead. You know the one that is actually in the computer? BTW, i’m 11, and know a lot about computers.

If you TV has an s-video connection, that cable will work perfectly. VGA into your computer, S-Video to your T.V. Keep in mind it won’t read your T.V. automatically. You just need to adjust the settings in Windows and it’ll work fine. Go to the control panel and head to display options to do so. Very simple.

The Vietnam War will highly be criticized and counted as a loss but after Linebacker 2 we reached ceasefire with the North and 2 years after we left, Saigon fell to the Communists. However, Communism did not spread any further in the region. Vietnam was also supported by the UN Security Council, America being the main fighting force, that the world asked of us.
